    Virginia McMahon joined approximately 80 fellow Catholics Thursday, February 2, 2012 outside Spirit Square in a prayer vigil to protest the performance of the play "The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told," that they consider blasphemous. Parishioners from St. Patrick, St. Matthew, St. Gabriel, St. Mark, St. Ann and traditional Catholics were outside the theater to pray the Rosary and hold a "Holy Hour of Reparation" - or prayers offered up in the face of a wrong they feel is being committed. Mecklenburg County expects to grow by 3,000 public school students next year and one-third of those will go to charter schools according to CMS and state projections.     A pedestrian was struck early Wednesday morning November 12, 2012 on Pineville-Matthews Road near Johnston Road. The man darted across the road from the Walgreens Drug Store into oncoming traffic. He barely made it past a car in the lane closest to him but was hit by a car in the next lane over by a silver Nissan Pathfinder. It seemed that the driver never saw him. Harris Blvd. DNCC officials handed out Obama speech credentials to the general public at two locations, West Blvd and E WT Harris Blvd, Saturday, August 25, 2012. Thousands of people lined up the credentialing site on E. WT Harris Blvd some getting in line as early as 10pm Friday evening.
