LOCUST -- A Stanly County man was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle wreck, Locust police say.
The victim was identified as Thomas Ray Adcock, 54, of Stanfield. He died about 6 p.m. when the 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving crashed into the rear of a 1997 Ford pick-up truck that had stopped on Main Street. The driver of the truck, a woman from Midland, was not seriously injured.
