Statesville native Tom Marshburn will be one of three astronauts participating in a Google+ Hangout from the International Space Station at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Google+ Hangouts are way for people to talk face-to-face using computer webcam technology while an international audience can watch the live conversation though Google+ or YouTube.
From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Marshburn, Kevin Ford and Chris Hadfield will answer real-time questions submitted via Twitter and Facebook, as well as a few video questions.
Got something to ask about life in space? Twitter users can pose their questions using the hashtag #askAstro or by posting on NASA’s Facebook page.
