No injuries were reported Friday morning in a truck fire in north Charlotte, fire officials say.

The fire was reported about 9:15 a.m. in the 5200 block of Sunset Road, a short distance from Statesville Road and east of Interstate 77. A tractor-trailer caught fire, but Charlotte fire Capt. Rob Brisley said a crew of 22 firefighters was able to subdue the blaze in less than 15 minutes.

Traffic was curtailed for a time, but the road was reopened a short time later.
