Robinson first in Quill competition

Jay M. Robinson was the middle school West Region champion for The Quill during early February.

The competition, held by the N.C. Association for Scholastic Activities in early February, consists of on-demand writing that requires students to create a written product within 90 minutes of receipt of a prompt. Students competed at their home schools.

Myers Park finished fourth in the high school West Region. The top five schools from each region advance to the March 2 state final at Lexington High.
