DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. Tony Stewart won a NASCAR Nationwide Series opener at Daytona International Speedway marred by several wrecks, including one on the final lap that left several fans injured in the frontstretch grandstands.

During the wreck, Kyle Larson's Chevrolet got lofted into the catchfence and the front end and engine - along with other debris - of Larson's car tore into the fence.

Multiple witnesses reported several fans at the site being treated for various injuries. Neither NASCAR nor the speedway had any immediate comment.

"As much as I want to celebrate right now, I'm more concerned about the drivers and the fans in the stands right now," Stewart said in Victory Lane.

The last-lap wreck began when then-leader Regan Smith moved to block the fast-approaching Brad Keselowski, who was attempting a pass for the win. Smith got turned into the wall, which ignited the multiple-car wreck.

Driver Michael Annett was transported to Halifax Medical Center after his involvement in a 13-car wreck on Lap 116 of 120.
