Owners of a west Charlotte nail salon got a surprise when they arrived to open for business Monday morning.
They learned that a vehicle apparently had crashed into the back of the building over the weekend.
It happened at the V&B Nail Salon, on Little Rock Road near Tuckaseegee Road, in the Village Oaks Shopping Center. That is a short distance north of Interstate 85.
Employees found a number of bricks from the rear wall of the building were dislodged as a result of the collision. The vehicle involved in the incident was not at the scene, and authorities were investigating to determine how it might have happened.
An employee of the salon said owners were waiting for a building inspector to arrive, before opening for business Monday.
