This medium- to fast-paced walk is free, open to the public and will start at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Reedy Creek Nature Center, 2900 Rocky River Road. This is a rain-or-shine hike, though it will be canceled in severe weather. Details and questions: 704-432-6460.

‘The Art of Recovery’
This free exhibit and public reception will be 3:30-6:30 p.m. March 21 at UNC Charlotte Center City, 320 Ninth St.
This event is hosted by UNC Charlotte College of Health and Human Services Department of Social Work, UNCC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health, Mental Health Association of Central Carolinas, Person Centered Partnerships and Occasio Inc.
The exhibit, featuring works by artists diagnosed with mental illness, seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. This event is free, but registration is required: bit.ly/VI92R8
