Mastery Tutors: Mastery Tutors In-Home Tutoring, which started in the Lake Norman area five years ago, now has more than 10,000 tutors in five metro areas and has begun to franchise, general manager Barry Duckworth said.

Mastery Tutors immediately outgrew the Lake Norman area and moved into the Charlotte region, Duckworth said. “After that, in quick succession, we began in Baltimore, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Atlanta and Charleston, S.C..

“The best part is we get to help thousands of children overcome learning obstacles, provide income revenues for many educators, both active and retired, and make a little money in the process,” he said.

For details on franchise opportunities, call Duckworth at 704-408-2652 or visit www.masterytutors.com.
