Concord senior guard Darren Black will represent North Carolina at the Carolinas All-Star Basketball Classic.
Black – who was chosen by the N.C. Coaches Association – and his North Carolina team will face South Carolina’s all-stars on March 23 in Myrtle Beach (S.C.).Black was second for the Spiders in scoring, averaging 15 points per game as the he headed into his team’s third round 3A playoff game against Harding on March 1.Concord was the only Cabarrus County team to reach the sectional finals round.
