Caregivers and Compassion Fatigue
This free program aims to teach caregivers how to take care of themselves in the midst of responsibilities, ways to renew energy and strength and maintain good boundaries. This free workshop will be offered 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. March 12 at The Ivey, 6030 Park South Drive. Larry Dawalt of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region will share caregiver coping skills.
For caregivers, care is available for loved ones during the presentation with advance notice. The workshop is free but pre-registration is requested: 704-909-2070.
“Financial Planning for living with chronic illness”
The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter will host these free meetings in Central and North Charlotte. Central Charlotte will meet 1-2:30 p.m. March 13 at Myers Park Presbyterian Church Outreach Center, Room F102, 1073 Providence Road. North Charlotte will be 6:30-8 p.m. March 14 at LiveWELL Carolinas, Northlake Mall, 6801 Northlake Mall Drive.
