Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a vandalism case after someone used a BB gun to shoot out windows of cars parked at an east Charlotte apartment complex.

Thirteen vehicles parked in a lot outside of the Grand Terraces apartment complex in the 6000 block of Regal Estate Lane had cracked windows after someone shot at them with BB guns, an apartment security guard reported to police.

The vandalism happened at 4:35 a.m. Monday, a report shows.

Police had not made any arrests in the case Tuesday.
