For just a regular old weekend in between CIAA and St. Patricks Day, youd think there wouldnt be much going on. But Charlotte nightlife never takes a weekend off, even when we lose an hour on a Saturday night.
2-Year Anniversary Party at Prohibition (200 N. Tryon St.): Prohibition (the era) ended 80 years ago, but the uptown bar has only been open since 2011. The Red Pump Projects Cupcakes and Condoms event at Interior Motives (2425 South Blvd.): Its a girls night out and a sweet way desserts will be served to commemorate National Women HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Free. 6-8 p.m. 704-261-5290.
