A 20-year-old Charlotte man who has been on the run for more than a week was captured by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Thursday.
Police say Nemiah Jerome Davis had cut off his electronic monitoring device Feb. 25. Davis had been ordered to wear the device when he was released from jail last summer. He has a lengthy arrest record, including an August arrest on charges of larceny and larceny conspiracy.
Police say the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team located Davis and took him into custody on Central Avenue.
