A wreck on the outer loop of Interstate 485 has closed two of three lanes near mile marker two.
Emergency crews were on the scene of crash, which happened just after 5:30 p.m. Friday near the South Tryon Street.
Two people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville with non-life-threatening injuries.
The N.C. Department of Transportation advised drivers to seek alternate routes as the accident was causing significant traffic delays and was expected to until around 6:30 p.m.
