Senior is family’s second Eagle Scout

Myers Park High senior Blake Hoffler recently became an Eagle Scout with Troop 55, sponsored by Myers Park Presbyterian.

Blake built eight goose and duck nesting boxes for Carolina Waterfowl Rescue of Waxhaw for his project. He will attend Greensboro College in the fall. Blake’s 19-year-old brother Hayden received his Eagle in 2011; his 16-year-old brother Parker, a sophomore at Myers Park, is working on his Eagle project with Troop 33.
