Police: Fort Mill home of alleged drug dealer robbed

FORT MILL The owner of a Fort Mill home previously occupied by an alleged drug dealer told police Thursday that thousands of dollars worth of electronics and appliances were stolen from the house, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

The owner of the Fern Forest Court home told police a clothes dyer, two televisions, and a lap top were gone. Damage also was reported to walls, electrical out letsand furniture.

Responding officers found out from York County drug unit offi cials that the tenant had been ar rested in mid-February on drug charges and was still in jail. Nar cotics officers told deputies that after the tenant’s arrest in February, the home was secured and no items were missing.

The landlord told police he had not been to the property since January. No arrests have been made but the case remains under investigation.
