An overnight wreck has caused a road closure Monday morning in northwest Charlotte.
Other problems are developing at 7:15 a.m., including several other collisions and increasing congestion.
An overnight wreck closed Oakdale Road at Peachtree Road. A power pole was knocked down, and crews are working to make repairs. It could be after 8 a.m. before the road is reopened.
The resurfacing work that closed parts of East Independence Boulevard over the weekend has ended. All lanes are open again.

Oakdale Road at Peachtree Road, northwest Charlotte ... Car hit a power pole overnight; crews working to fix the pole, and the road is closed in that area.
I-85 southbound, Cabarrus County ... Congestion; traffic moving 15-25 mph from N.C. 73 down to I-485.
I-77 southbound, Lake Norman area ... Congestion; traffic moving 20-35 mph from the lake down to I-485.
I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Carowinds Boulevard to Woodlawn Road.
I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion and a collision; collision was between Providence and Rea roads, but the vehicles are moved to the shoulder; traffic moving 20-30 mph from Providence Road to South Boulevard.
I-485 inner loop, southwest Mecklenburg ... Collision reported about 6:45 a.m., between South Tryon Street and Arrowood Road; minor delays.
