DURHAM Duke already has one recording artist's son on the roster. Now the Blue Devils have offered another.
The coaching staff has extended an offer to Class of 2015 WR Cordell Broadus, better known as Snoop Dogg's son (note: apparently his name is now Snoop Lion, for what it's worth). Hud Mellencamp, son of John Mellencamp, is a rising sophomore walk-on DB for Duke. He did not appear in any games last year.
The 6-foot-3, 185-proud Broadus, a Diamond Bar, Calf., native, also has offers from UCLA and Washington, according to Rivals. Check out his highlights below.
