SHELBY -- Police have arrested two men who they say fired into a residence Monday afternoon in Shelby.
Vanquailus Tyrone Robertson, 18, of Grover, and Vincent Randall Taylor, 21, of Shelby, were charged in the alleged incident, which was reported about 4:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Broad Street.
Police say they were told that several men had approached the area, and one man began shooting into the house. One person inside the residence was wounded by flying glass from a window, and an unoccupied vehicle in the driveway was damaged.

Police say the investigation is continuing, with additional charges possible.
Robertson was charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property; carrying a concealed weapon; possession of a firearm with an altered serial number; and discharging a firearm inside city limits. Taylor was charged with discharging a weapon into occupied property.
