In light of the season, Shain Gallery is hosting a three-day event titled “Spring Cleaning.” The Myers Park-based gallery will feature 55 paintings at the event, including work by Kim Schuessler, Jane Schmidt, Christy Kinard, Eric Olsen, Curtis Jaunsen, Henry Barnes and Amy Dobbs. Known as one of the finest contemporary art providers in the area, the gallery will begin the event at 6 p.m. March 14 and offer the selected paintings with substantial savings; 10 percent of the sales of the event will benefit Safe Alliance, a Charlotte-based children and family services center.
