C Daniel Miller 8.5 ppg, 6.7 rpg

Counting on a big weekend from …

Chris Bolden. The Yellow Jackets aren’t a good offensive team, but they’re at least better when Bolden, a freshman guard, is being aggressive and making his shots. He scored 21 points in Georgia Tech’s surprising victory at Miami earlier this month, and that had to give him confidence.

Number to know

0.96 That’s how many points per possession the Yellow Jackets average, which ranks last in the ACC. Georgia Tech is also last in the league in field goal percentage (42 percent).

Dancing shoes or flip-flops?

Flip-flops. Georgia Tech has three quality freshmen around which to build – Bolden, Georges-Hunt and Carter Jr. – but the Jackets, as sound as they’ve been defensively, simply can’t score. And that’s a problem in basketball.

Andrew Carter
