F Richard Howell 12.7 ppg, 10.6 rpg

Counting on a big weekend from …

C.J. Leslie. There’s no way around it, N.C. State needs Leslie to be good to be at its best. The issue with Leslie, the most talented player on the team, is the same as the team in general – a lack of consistency. The good news is Leslie is coming off a down performance at Florida State, which historically means he’ll be good Thursday.

Number to know

3 N.C. State has won four consecutive ACC games three times in the past 20 years (2005-06, 2003-04 and 1996-97).

Dancing shoes or flip flops?

Flip flops. There will be moments when the Wolfpack looks good, maybe even great, but the Pack hasn’t been consistent enough – at any point in the season – to suggest it is capable of reeling off four straight wins.
