Tate Cares

 Allen Tate Realtors kicked off its “Tate Cares” campaign in February for employees and March 5 for realtors. The campaign combines annual giving to support arts and cultural organizations, United Way agencies and public education. Steele Creek branch leader Kim Overman will serve as the Tate Cares chairperson in Charlotte and upstate South Carolina. Sandra O’Connor, branch leader for Allen Tate Green Valley office in Greensboro, will be the chairperson in the Triad and Triangle regions.

New additions to Crescent Resources

 Thomas K. Sittema and Jenny Vallimont have joined the Charlotte-based real estate investment company Crescent Resources. Sittema, the chief executive officer of CNL Financial Group, has joined Crescent’s board of managers. Vallimont, former vice president and sustainability manager for Bank of America, has been named Crescent’s director of innovation and sustainability. Hilary Trenda
