After a chilly start, temperatures are forecast to climb into the low- to mid-60s across the Charlotte region on Friday.
And if you like todays weather, youll likely enjoy Saturday even more when the high is expected to reach 75.
But first, we have to get past the morning chill. Temperatures were hovering around the freezing mark before 6 a.m., but are forecast to hit the 50s by lunchtime.
The high could reach 63 in Charlotte by the late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The overnight low will be in the upper 40s before temperatures rise to 76 degrees on Saturday. The weather service is forecasting wind speeds of 8 to 18 mph tomorrow, with gusts of up to 30 mph.
Sunday will bring a high of 70 and a slight chance of rain.
The chance for precipitation will grow to 40 percent on Monday, though any rain will clear out of the region on Tuesday.
