Matchup to Watch

Kemba Walker vs. John Wall: Wall is back from an injury and has made the Wizards dramatically better than they were when they lost two to the Bobcats in November.

Observations

By winning tonight, the Bobcats can do something that hasn’t happened much lately – win a season series with another Eastern Conference team. They lead this series 2-1.

• New Bobcats point guard Jannero Pargo, who had a team-high 18 points Saturday in Boston, was cut by the Wizards earlier this season.

• The Wizards are loaded with ex-Bobcats: Emeka Okafor, Garrett Temple and Cartier Martin. They cut another one, Shaun Livingston, earlier this season.

Tap-ins

• Wizards rookie Bradley Beal is back from missing six games with an ankle sprain.

• Wizards forward Martell Webster had a monster game recently against the Phoenix Suns: 34 points and seven 3-pointers.

Did you know?

If Wall finishes his career at his current pace, averaging at least 16 points, eight assists and four rebounds, he’d join some elite company in NBA history: Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and Chris Paul.
