Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the shooting death of a man Saturday evening at a home in Kannapolis.

Logan Porter Brown, 22, was arrested in Charlotte on Monday.

Authorities had been searching for him since late Saturday and told the public to be on the lookout for him and a white Toyota Scion found abandoned along Concord Mills Boulevard.

Another man, 24-year-old Demarcus Rashad Chambers of Kannapolis, was arrested Sunday and is also facing murder and robbery charges.

Police say they are suspects in the death of Casey Ray Wilkinson, 21, of Concord.

Investigators say police were called late Saturday about a shooting at a residence in the 1700 block of Hampton Forest Drive. Police said they are not releasing additional information now, but they say evidence and help from witnesses led them to charge Brown and Chambers.
