Faison names new CEO

Charlotte-based development company Faison said it has a new CEO.

On Thursday, Tom Webb, a former Crescent Resources executive and the owner of HTWebb, a residential real estate advisory firm, replaced CEO and President Philip Norwood, who retired Monday.

Also Monday, Allen Jackson, the company’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer, retired.

Faison said Norwood and Jackson will be senior advisers to the company until the end of the year.

Thomas Hollowell, a Faison board member, said Tuesday that Norwood announced last year that he would be retiring. Jackson, though, announced his plans to retire Monday, Hollowell said.

Webb is expected to find a replacement for Jackson, Hollowell said, adding that he doesn’t know when a hire will be made.
