Run like a bunny: Registration is open for the Bunny Run 5K and Festival. The cost to run is $15 before March 22 and $20 on race day. Festival will run 10 a.m.-1 p.m. March 30 in downtown Concord. There will be a climbing wall, arts and crafts, face painting, the Easter Bunny, a DJ and more. Race begins at 9:30 a.m. on Means Avenue. Register in advance and get a T-shirt. Hunt for eggs: Harrisburg Parks and Recreation’s free annual Easter egg hunt for ages 1-10 starts 9 a.m. March 23 at Harrisburg Park, 191 Sims Parkway. Also available will be face painting, inflatable games, prizes and visits with the Easter Bunny. Details: harrisburgnc.org.
Shutterbug wins again: For the third straight year, Karen Goforth won awards for wedding photography in the N.C. Professional Photographers Association convention this month in Raleigh. The owner of Irresistible Portraits in Kannapolis took first in the wedding album category, second for candid bridal image and third for woman’s portrait.
