Easter brunch is set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 31. A peek at Chef de Cuisine Brian Mottola’s menu finds a number of raw and chilled options such as oyster shooters, spicy New Orleans style bloody marys, starters and salads including Emeril’s New Orleans barbecued shrimp and an e2 Cobb salad. Breakfast offerings include bananas Foster, spiced pancakes with spiced rum syrup and cinnamon butter, and biscuits and gravy with sweet potato hash. Entrée selections include shrimp and grits with gulf shrimp and Anson Mills rice grits and wood over Scottish salmon, crawfish served with corn and black eyed pea succotash. Rooster’s

Easter lunch is offered from noon to 3 p.m., and dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 31. A face painter will be on hand from 1 to 5 p.m. Chima’s traditional rodizio will be $39.50 for lunch, and the salad bar $23.50; kids ages 7-11 eat for $19.75. Del Frisco’s

Join Del Frisco’s on Easter for a three-course brunch 11a.m. – 3 p.m. March 31. Starters include a shrimp tasting with Remoulade, Italian marinade and cocktail sauce, salads and tomato basil bisque. Entrees include a filet mignon Benedict, prime rib and seared salmon. Warm banana bread pudding and Belgian dark chocolate mousse with fresh whipped cream are two of the dessert options. Sides can be added for an additional $7 and include a choice of chateau potatoes, thick cut bacon and more. City Tavern

City Tavern starts its Easter buffet at 10:30 a.m. March 31. Items on the buffet include breakfast foods such as eggs, carved turkey and ham, grits, crab cakes, pasta and sides. Cost is $17 for adults and $7 for kids ages 6-8. Children younger than 5 eat free. Mimosas for $3 and bloody marys for $4 are also part of the mix.

Polka Dot Bake Shop

A spring menu has been launched and includes a new line up of cupcake flavors such as key lime pie, strawberry lemonade, Italian cream cake and chocolate raspberry swirl. Also new are spring cookies: black and white, glazed sugar and tres chocolate. Easter sugar cookies are available for order by the dozen for $12.50, or $1.25 each. Cookies can be picked up the week of March 26-30. On March 29 and March 30 cookies will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Peach, key lime and coconut cream are seasonal pies available in both 4-inch and 10-inch sizes. A 48- hour notice is required for all 10-inch pies; 4-inch are available on a first-come, first-serve basis daily. Hot cross buns for Easter are available for preorder for pick up the week before Easter. The traditional sweet for Good Friday is sold in a pack of 6 for $12.50. A 48-hour pre-order is required.
