Queens’ rainwater harvesting project to be discussed

The rainwater harvesting project at Queens University of Charlotte will be the subject of a talk Tuesdayhosted by Queens’ new U.S. Green Building Council Student Group and vice president Bill Nichols.

Michael Cole of ColeJenest & Stone, the design firm for the project, will speak from 4:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. A question-and-answer period will follow. The project is among sustainable practices the university has launched.

The event will be held in the Duke Energy Auditorium inside the new Rogers Hall, a LEED Platinum building, on the Queens campus. It’s free and open to the public. Bruce Henderson
