Wow, what journey this has been. I cant believe this is going to be my last blog for Carolina Bride and the Get Fit Challenge.
Its hard to believe that 8 months ago I started this incredible journey with 4 other women to get our lives back. There have been ups and there have been downs but I can honestly say I am truly blessed, in more ways than one. It's a very unique experience sharing very personal details about your weight. It's hard being able to admit that you've gained weight. But it's okay - we're all human. I don't think our "newly acquired" flaws define us... I think what we do about them to change does.
Although this competition is ending, theres not end in sight for the battle for a healthy lifestyle. Even after our final weigh-in, I have continued to lose weight, work out more often, and eat better. Family members and even Jeff have all jumped aboard the health-train and are too, making positive changes in their lives. It makes me both proud and determined to continue to make this new lifestyle a consistent lifestyle.
Were 201 days out from our wedding, so Ive still got a lot of planning to do! I have really enjoyed sharing my journey thus far with everyone and hope Ive helped at least one bride along the way.
Thank you for following my blog! Whether you are fighting a battle with weight or facing a wedding planning nightmare, I wish everyone all the happiness in the world!
World peace and currently wearing those skinny jeans,
