This journey has been amazing, and having Carolina Bride along for the ride has been such a pleasure. I have enjoyed sharing my time, my struggles, and my triumphs with you readers, and I appreciate the effort you took each week to read what I had to say. I hope I have given you a little dose of humor and hope as you plan your own weddings or diet and exercise adventures. Before I could share my life with someone else, I needed to really learn how to love and appreciate myself. I hope you can all find that same place in your lives that I have finally found in minehealthier, happier, and ready for whatever new storm is thrown my way. As disappointed as I am that my blogging journey is over, theres no better way for it to end than by beginning my new life with my husband.I want to take this opportunity in my last entry to extend special thanks to the people and vendors that helped to make this competition amazing, including the incredibly talented artists Nathan Abplanalp, his beautiful bride, Rachel, and the new little assistant they will be adding to the entourage in nine months; Erin Ashley, who has magic in her fingertips and brushes; and Swooz who can make bobbypins dance and disappear. You all made me feel so beautiful, which was so much more important to me than how I actually looked.More thanks to sponsors of the competition that I also got to have the pleasure of working with, including Tracy and Tori at New York Bride & Groom who helped me to find a perfect formal wedding dress and gorgeous bridesmaids dresses; Christine Lammers with Stella and Dot who helped me pick out spectacular earrings for my beautiful maids, then snuck into her own personal stash for something for my honeymoon; Karen at Lily Greenthumbs who crafted the perfect wedding bouquet for me all via email then packed it up like a champion for its five hour road trip; and finally, Chris, Shama, and all of the incredible trainers at Flex + Fit who coordinated our weigh-ins, acted as springboards for suggestions, and kept all our behinds in check throughout this long journey with their amazing services and facility. If you ever have the chance to work with any of these vendors, jump on it!Carolina Bride editor Cristina Wilson: you took on the task of working with five possible bridezillas because you saw potential in all of us, and I can say that your role in getting this competition going and encouraging us along the way has actually changed my life and my husbands. Finally, a very special thanks to all of the other Carolina Bride Get Fit competitorsAlyn, Becca, Sheri, and Amanda. It has been amazing to know all of you and Im so glad we got to share on this adventure together. Everyone looked so incredible at the last photo shoot, and I cant wait to see us all in print. As the old married lady of the bunch, I can tell you that no matter what happens on your wedding day, you will be beautiful, you will shine, and I hope nothing but the very best for you and your husbands. With Love,
