CMPD: Charlotte teens robbed Papa John’s delivery man

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Thursday were searching for two teenagers who robbed a Papa John's delivery man at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at 1100 North Wendover Road in south Charlotte.

Two teenage suspects used a handgun to rob the man of $20 while he was delivering food, according to a police report.

The suspects fled the scene on foot toward the Grier Heights area, the report said.

No one was injured during the robbery.
