CMPD welcomes 45 new officers

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department will swear in 45 new officers during a 10 a.m. ceremony at the Police Training Academy.

The new officers are members of the department’s 146th recruit class.

They will be joining various divisions around the city.
