Charlotte budget hearing on live TV today

The City of Charlotte will carry Wednesday afternoon’s budget workshop on live television.

The city says the workshop, part of the process for developing the budget to cover fiscal year 2014-15 and the Capital Investment Plan for 2014-18, will be aired at 3 p.m. on the Government Channel, cable channel 16. You also can watch the workshop live online.

All budget workshops, presentations and the public hearing will be carried live on cable TV and on streaming video. The telecasts are closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired and are rebroadcast throughout the month. They also are archied on the Government Channel website.
