Crescent breaks ground on development at University Research Park

Crescent Communities on Wednesday broke ground on Alexander Village, a 63-acre multi-use development at University Research Park. The first phase is a 320-unit luxury apartment community called Crescent Alexander Village (formerly Circle Alexander Village), that sits on 27 acres on Senator Royall Drive south of Mallard Creek Church Road.

The company says Alexander Village will also include up to 75,000 square feet of retail, 250,000 square feet of office space and a hotel.

Crescent expects to begin preleasing Crescent Alexander Village this fall with units available in early 2014.
