Police say they were called shortly before 1:30 a.m. to a residence in the 700 block of Katharine Avenue

According to officers, two men kicked in the side door of the residence and demanded money from the three occupants. One of the suspects fired a shot at the three people, and several other shots were fired, police say. No injuries were reported.

The second suspect was a light-skinned black male, 6-1 to 6-3 tall, and thin with short hair. He was wearing a black strap around his face and a black coat. That man was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Kings Mountain police detectives, at 704-734-0444.
