Stefan Huebner has been wowing and wooing Charlotte cocktail enthusiasts for more than 17 years. But recently has the New Jersey native had a chance to push the mixology envelop atof all placesa brewery. In 17 years behind the bar in this town, Id say Ive made 60,000 cosmos, says Huebner, who was at Cosmos Ballantyne location before taking over the craft cocktail selection at NoDas Heist Brewery. Charlotte just got liquor by the drink in 1980 so were still a toddler when it comes to drinking. But Huebner has high hopes for the citys spirits. His adventurous drinks feature topand often locally-sourcedingredients, and have quickly set Heist apart. Last month even saw the launch of his first 100% organic cocktail made with locally produced Lenny Boy Kombucha. I think in two years every restaurant will have a craft cocktail list.
