Gaston County police are searching for a man accused of stealing tobacco products and scratch-off lottery tickets from a convenience store early Tuesday.
The burglary happened around 1 a.m. at the Kingsway Store in the 4600 block of Chapel Grove School Road in Gastonia, police said. Surveillance footage captured the person taking items from the store. A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available because of the quality of the photos, but he is wearing all dark clothing, including a coat, is bald and possibly was wearing glasses.
Sgt. R.S. Dover said another surveillance video captured the man with a possible female suspect in the parking lot of the store prior to the break-in. The woman is never seen inside the store, Dover said.
Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call Gaston County Police at 704-866-3320 or Crime Stoppers at 704-861-8000.
