Streets are wet once again this morning across the Charlotte region, so you’ll need to allow yourself some extra time to reach your destination.
At 8:10 a.m., there were no reports of collisions on major roads in the Charlotte region. However, congestion is a big problem, as usual.
Also, East W.T. Harris Boulevard remains closed between Albemarle and Hickory Grove roads, as crews continue working to repair the damage from Monday’s broken water main.
Motorists also should remember to allow extra time while driving anywhere near the Quail Hollow Club in south Charlotte, as the PGA tour event begins this morning.
