Organizations connected to Davidson College are organizing a walk/run to benefit people affected by the terrorist attacks at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15.

Proceeds from the event, which takes place at Davidson College starting at 4:30 p.m., will go to The One Fund, which helps “the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013,” according to its website.

The 2.62 mile walk/run takes place at Davidson College on Wednesday, starting at 4:30 p.m.

The entry fee is $20 and includes a t-shirt tank top. Participants should check in at Richardson Stadium at 4 p.m.
