CMPD, FBI seek bank robber

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and the FBI Tuesday were searching for a man who robbed the Latino Credit Union in the 3100 block of Milton Road.

Police said the suspect entered the bank around 11 a.m., demanded cash from the teller then fled in a burgundy Chevrolet Malibu.

Police described the suspect as in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6-foot-2 tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark knit hat, yellow bandana, camouflage jacket, dark pants and dark tennis shoes.

If you have any information, please call Charlotte-Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600 or FBI Charlotte at (704) 672-6100.
