Buskapalooza III and ‘Busk!’

The third street festival of musicians, magicians, visual artists, dancers and other performers runs 5 to 9 p.m. Friday around uptown Charlotte, within half a dozen blocks of Trade and Tryon streets. It’s free, but you’re going to tip the buskers, right?

The short documentary “Busk!,” which looks at the lives of local buskers, gets its premiere Sunday at 4 p.m. in McGlohon Theater, 345 N. College St. Writer-director April Denée and a couple of buskers will speak afterward.

Details: Tickets, $5, carolinatix.org; buskmovie.com. LARRY TOPPMAN
