The winner: Tired of digging tangled earrings out of a dish? I attached a simple wire desk basket to the bathroom wall beside my mirror and hang my earrings on it. Easy to find what I want and makes a pretty decoration as well. Jan Foster, Concord
Dry out wrinkles and dry in freshness
My off-season clothes are cleaned and stored in plastic crates under my bed. However, when I take them out, they are wrinkled and musty. To get the wrinkles out and the freshness in, I take about six items and put them in the dryer on high heat with a damp washcloth for about 15 to 20 minutes. The wrinkles seem to just fall away.
Sometimes I lightly spray the damp washcloth with perfume and the clothes come out smelling like a rose! Kathy Bumgardner, Denver
