The N.C. High School Athletic Association released the final Wells Fargo Cup standings last week.The cup “recognizes the high schools that achieve the best overall interscholastic performance within each of the state’s four competitive classifications,” according to the release. Charlotte Catholic (607.5 points) finished third in the 3A class, behind Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons (705) and Marvin Ridge (662.5). In the 4A standings, Providence High (330) finished fourth, Myers Park (315) finished tied for fifth and Ardrey Kell (302.5) finished eighth. Morrisville Green Hope won the 4A with 555 points.
