Police seek suspects in South End robbery

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are hoping video surveillance photos will lead them to the two men accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint early Monday in South End.

The robbery was reported about 12:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Camden Road, near East Boulevard.

The victim said she was approached by two men, one of whom pointed a gun at her and demanded her purse. The men then ran off, and the victim was not injured.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600, or you can leave tips online.
