First Team

Singles

Marshall Parker, Shelby, So. – 2A state singles’ champion is just getting started.

Riley Brosnan, Charlotte Catholic, So. – Cougars’ sophomore was 3A state singles’ runner-up.

Josh DuToit, Ardrey Kell, Jr. – 4A West Regional singles’ champion, also Southwestern 4A singles’ champ.

Ryan Wydra, Hough, Jr. – I-Meck singles’ champion was also 4A Western Regional runner-up.

Will Roberson, Covenant Day, Sr. – All-state pick led team to 14-1 season (including wins over Providence Day and Country Day and a run to NCISAA 3A state semifinals) will play at Queens University.

Will Turner, Charlotte Country Day, Jr. – All-state junior led Bucs to NCISAA 3A state quarterfinals.

Diego Castano, Statesville Christian, Sr. – 4-time NCISAA 1A state champion capped another all-state year with singles’ title.

Paul Hogan, Hibriten, Sr. – 3A state semifinalist headed to play at Gardner-Webb.

Doubles

John Tate/Tyler Barrymore, Newton Conover – Made history as Red Devils’ 4th 2A state doubles’ champions.

B.J. Beecher/Matt Harvey, Concord – Spiders’ duo won 3A Midwest Regional title, before falling just short as 3A state runner-up.

Duy Huynh/Michael McGowan, Providence – Panthers’ tandem won 4A Western Regional title.

Scott Buie/Mike Flores, Providence Day – Chargers’ duo led team to a second straight NCISAA 3A state title.
