Investigators in Cleveland County are asking the public to help them find two vehicles that might be connected with a fatal shooting last week.

Scott Davis, the owner of Smokers ETC on Dixon Boulevard, was shot and killed between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 20.

Investigators want to find two vehicles that were seen in the area during that time – a silver Honda Civic with four doors, a spoiler and alloy wheels and a Ford Thunderbird with dark tinted windows and a faded paint job.

Police ask anyone with information about the vehicles or who may have been traveling on N.C. 74 through Cleveland County during the time of the shooting to call the Sheriff’s office at 704-484-4822 of Crime Stoppers at 704-481-8477.
