Yards at NoDa
Gvest Partners of Charlotte and Atlanta broke ground in early June on this nearly 350-unit project at 401 E. 33rd St. in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood. The development will feature a mix of apartments and a small number of rental townhomes on the west side of North Brevard Street, between the Matheson Avenue bridge and East 36th Street.
Amenities will include a clubhouse, fitness center, pool and dog park. Yards at NoDa will be located adjacent to a proposed light rail stop. The development is slated to open in spring 2014. Prices have not been announced.
Giving Tree Realty community drive
Charlotte real estate firm Giving Tree Realty will hold a community drive for the Humane Society of Charlotte through the end of July. Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., the staff will accept donations at 1819 East Blvd. such as dog and cat food, treats, toys, beds, bowls, blankets, shampoo, soap, brushes, household cleaning supplies and monetary donations.
